New gliding sport or rather new machine to fly on water. The pumpabike works only on the body impulse, no engine so no noise, so good for everyone.

The horizontal speed generated at the time of the departure from a pontoon or a beach, makes it possible thanks to the profile of the foil at the back (which one can compare with an airplane wing), to create a force of lift, supporting the weight of the user. In the same way, the small foil at the front allows the skate not to sink into the water, to take a small part of the user’s weight and to dampen the movements.

When the user pushes on his arms and flexes his legs, he modifies the angle of incidence and pushes the back foil which, by reaction, tends to go up, generating an effort of lift and propulsion. The user maintains the movement, like a dolphin’s tail. When the horizontal speed is no longer high enough or the movement is too sudden, as with an airplane wing, the foil stalls.

Maintaining a regular rhythm of bending arms and legs is therefore very important in order to disturb the flow around the foil as little as possible. A choppy rhythm will create turbulence and cause the foil to stall more quickly. The goal is to find the right rhythm.
