Cocoon 1 can be used indoors as well as outdoors and even in the water. It can be used as you wish: for relaxing, sleeping, working, cooking or as storage space. It is up to our test subjects to decide, because Cocoon 1 is an ongoing project. As they retreat into the Cocoon 1 cocoon, we look at all the other things they need to find happiness in.

Cocoon 1 is transparent and measures 180 cm in diameter. Therefore, it can be perfectly used as a space within a space. Thanks to various fixing systems, Cocoon 1 can be installed on the floor or ceiling. But thanks to a robust nylon net, it is also possible to hang Cocoon 1 in trees and buildings – even in clusters of several units. Electricity, WiFi and a cooking module make Cocoon 1 a great place to live. No matter what activities you want to do – there are no limits to your imagination.
Cocoon 1 has three basic modules: a base frame (Foundation 360) and two cushion elements (Pillow 90).

We can also combine or replace the basic equipment with additional modules. For example, cushion elements of different sizes (Pillow 45, 90, 180) or storage modules (Storage 45, 90, 180) can be used.

Thanks to the kitchen functionality (Kitchen 90) and the water outlet (Water 90), Cocoon 1 can also be used outdoors without any problems. An electrical station provides lighting and energy for cooking. The storage modules (Storage 90 and 180) can also be supplied with electricity.

If you want to go swimming with Cocoon 1, we recommend the base frame with integrated lead weight (Foundation Pb), which keeps the unit horizontal on the water.
