Quite the contrary! The design of the Lab II earphones took hours of work by specialists in this process, working closely with the sound experts at S-Next.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, the Lab II earphones represent a form never before seen in the audio world, helping to improve sound in terms of high frequencies, bass and acoustics. After testing many prototypes, the S-Next team realized that the Lab II earphones had to meet specific criteria: a mechanical equalizer in front of the diaphragm, a hole in the back of the head unit, and a gap deliberately placed between the earphones and the wearer&#8217;s ear canal.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the shape required by the Lab II earphones could only be achieved in 3D. Indeed, the equalizers could be realized in the finest possible way in order to obtain an incomparable quality of sound, while taking into account the radiations and the heat generated by the 3D realization process.<\/p>\n<p>One may wonder if the use of titanium in the design of the Lab II headphones does not make them unpleasant to wear in the ear. Well, here again the designers have thought of everything to avoid feeling the rigidity of the surface! Thus, the grains of titanium used are extremely fine, but the equalisers remain robust enough to deliver a perfect sound quality. So the external aspect of the titanium remains pleasant to the touch, while its rigidity remains intact inside thanks to a chemical treatment. Lab II earphones can therefore be considered ultra-sophisticated, and the softest ever created in titanium.<\/p>\n<p>Other ultra-precise techniques used in the design of the Lab II earphones include mechanical equalizers placed in front of the diaphragm to provide just the right amount of pressure to enhance the sound. Also, the opening of the earphones is always thinner and, as we said earlier, is 0.2mm away from the ear canal, allowing for ideal resonance for the diffusion of sound into your ears.<\/p>\n<p>For the wires connecting the Lab II earphones, pure metal was used for the yoke and pole, allowing for increased magnetic flux through them. The yoke is wide and curved, an absolutely unique shape that eliminates unnecessary vibration. All in all, the Lab II earphones are extremely light and comfortable to wear.
