Workhorse, an American company wishing to innovate in the personal mobility sector, is now committed to designing environmentally friendly and safe vehicles. To do this, in addition to its trucks, the company is now developing its helicopter range with the Surefly by Workhorse.

Unveiled at the Paris Air Show, the Surefly by Workhorse intends to revolutionize the private helicopter market. Through innovative and economical systems, the aim is to provide owners with a safe and efficient means of transportation, while reducing costs.

The design of the Surefly by Workhorse, built from carbon fiber, consists of four arms each equipped with two thrusters. Of course, the aircraft is equipped with a parachute in case of emergency, available for each of the two passengers.

The Surefly by Workhorse ensures the safety of the passengers thanks to a backup battery in case the main engine fails. The main engine is gasoline-powered and generates electricity without the need for long recharging hours between trips. The two engines provide the pilot with a range of 110km and a load capacity of 180kg, ideal for transporting goods.

The other great advantage of the Surefly by Workhorse is its ease of piloting. This is done thanks to a technology that helps to take off and land vertically, and the navigation offers optimal visibility thanks to the GPS system and the system developed by Workhorse to detect difficult weather conditions in real time. This last feature also allows you to save fuel and choose a more relevant flight plan.

Containing the Surefly by Workhorse’s 200 horsepower becomes a breeze, and the static port and pitot tube allow you to control the altimeter and airspeed in the blink of an eye, like a giant drone.

Orders for the Surefly by Workhorse are already available, but you should know that a $1000 deposit is required to acquire this drone, out of the $200,000 total that must be spent!
