Detailed description

It is called 747 Mirage. The latest Frauscher model was unveiled in mid-June by the Austrian shipyard and bears a clear resemblance to its prestigious elder brother, the 858 Fantom.

Frauscher’s 7.47-meter-long version of the motorboat “supercar” concept inaugurated in 2013 by the bewitching 858 Fantom (8.67 m). The name Mirage refers both to the optical phenomenon and to the fighter plane, says the shipyard, and gives the boat a “mysterious aura”. The irresistible silhouette of this 747 Mirage is the work, once again, of the talented designers Gerald Kiska and Harry Miesbauer, in collaboration of course with the shipyard’s stylists.

Four engines are included in the catalog: three Z-drive gasoline inboards with up to 430 horsepower, and a 220 horsepower Volvo Penta D4 diesel block. In its most beastly configuration, the 747 Mirage approaches 56 knots in top speed. The fuel tank has a capacity of 240 liters.

As for the amenities, the connection between the bathing platform and the cockpit is provided by a clear corridor to starboard, while a sunbathing area covers the engine room. The cockpit is distinguished by its modular L-shaped sofa and naturally houses the steering position. A removable cushion that serves as an additional sunbed can be attached to the deckhouse and stored underneath. Finally, Frauscher offers a wide choice of interior and exterior colors to personalize the unit.
