Cordier Golden4Box®: a true one-off, a box gilded with 24-carat gold leaf using traditional methods first perfected in the reign of Louis XIV. It took expert gilder Véronique Debord over three weeks to craft this precious rarity. The first Golden4Box was sold to a Chinese businessman at Vinexpo Hong Kong 2012. You’ll have to wait until early 2013 to see the video we filmed at Véronique Debord’s workshop, and fully appreciate the precision and delicacy of her work. Available to order. Price: on request.

Cordier Royal4Box®: Loïc Chassagne, a Bordeaux-based craftsman specialising in marquetry, has poured the benefit of his years of experience into these historic works. Crafted from the legendary Marie-Antoinette oak (322 years old), each case requires over 60 hours of painstaking work. Only 15 Cordier Royal4Boxes® will be available for sale worldwide. The video we made at Loïc Chassagne’s studio will also be premiering in early 2013. Available to order. Price: on request.
